Goose Creek CISD named Dr. Toby York as temporary interim superintendent to take over from retiring Barbara Sultis on Jan 6. Sultis announced plans to retire Jan 5 after more than seven years. York, the district’s deputy superintendent for personnel and student services, will lead during the interim period.

Holiday Gift Giving Program helps Baytown kids in need
The Baytown Family YMCA launched its first Holiday Gift Giving Program to match donors with children from struggling families. Lee College interim president Dennis Topper retires
