The Baytown 4-H Club moves its Roseland Pavilion event to Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Lakewood Club House near Greenbriar and Winkler. Community Sing by First Baptist primary and junior choirs runs 6 30 to 8 30 p.m. Thursday with KWBA air time. Choir members sing around 7 30 p.m. and depart church at 7 p.m. Seminars by Dr F A Matsen of Texas and Dr T Kosnig of Oregon held Thursday and Friday at Humble R D Center. Harris County payrolls rose eight percent from March 1964 to March 1965 per the U S Bureau of the Census County Business Patterns. Total employment reached 451 935 with manufacturing employing 108 827 and payrolls amounting to 181 3 million in March 1965. Four men steal car then beat driver near Houston
In Lafayette police reports an incident east of Baytown Texas involved a car stolen Tuesday night from Miss Mary Alice Ritchey sister of police chief Donan Ritchey. Four men forced a station wagon off Interstate 10 beat Edward Breaux the driver and drove toward Houston. Ritchey’s car was wrecked and found in Mont Belvieu Texas.
