Arrest of Richard Gonzalez linked to Texas murders
Three suspects were arrested and a 9 mm pistol recovered. Richard Gonzalez, 23, had been a suspect in the murders of Jarvis Morgan and Alejandro Chavez. Chambers County DA Cheryl Lieck says she was surprised he was back on the street after probation issues and notes Gonzalez aided in locating the victims’ bodies. He was transferred to Harris County Jail to face potential five years to life for a 2011 assault while on probation for a prior felony assault.
