Unique High Fashion At Sewing Circle At Lee College
Doris Hunter guides an advanced sewing class at Lee College Baytown that has become the campus's busiest sewing circle. Students, many teachers, learn knit fabrics, fit patterns, and create complete wardrobes in 16 week sessions costing 33 dollars plus fabric and parking. Several plan to continue with spring courses and a tailoring class next fall. The class blends credit and self improvement with practical garments, short cuts, and fashion ideas, yielding wearable, well fitting pieces valued at far less than ready to wear.
