Remembering Steve Holmes at AEL Class 66 reunion
William Steve Holmes, longtime Carthage resident, died suddenly while visiting family in Indiana. He joined the 1960s AEL class, attended Lee College, mastered Russian and French, built an organ, and served in the Navy before working as a TDOT project engineer. His friends recall his humor, music, and lifelong ties to Baytown and the Lee community.
