City Council approved a four door six cylinder sedan for City Manager C Darwin Middleton at 21449.08 after earlier bidding for a station wagon. Three Youths Held For Shop Lifting In Baytown
Three 13 year old youths from La Porte and Pasadena were picked up by Baytown police for shop lifting after allegedly taking two water pistols and one pair of gloves from Weingarten's. Eddie Garrett Baytown probation officer released them to parents pending further action. One La Porte Intermediate student and one La Porte High student were named. the Pasadena youth left school. The Houston probation officer will handle the Pasadena case while the La Porte teens fall under the district attorney for action.

Baytown warms before a Canadian cold front arrives late Wednesday and Thursday. Forecasters expect a 42 degree low Wednesday night and a high near 46 on Thursday with several days of cold air behind the front.
