Petition drive opposes I-10 zoning change in Baytown
A 58.7 acre parcel at I-10 and Sjolander Road faces a rezoning from open space to light industrial to allow a logistics center with about a dozen 15,000 square foot warehouses. Residents, led by Karlie Brouillard, accuse the plan of worsening traffic and prefer undeveloped land or a safer flow into the area. The petition has 800 signatures as objections prompt upcoming Planning and Zoning discussions.
