Racial Harmony Meet Set By Baytown Council
The Baytown Human Relations Council schedules a 5 p.m. Thursday meeting in the school district to discuss promoting racial harmony with school administrators. At Tuesday’s city hall session, Ervie Coxson noted black students may feel more at home at Sterling High School, which opened as integrated from the start. The council plans to invite a REL Human Race Club representative and a Committee of 15 member to January’s meeting, to study minority group issues and push minority representation on city boards.

Lee College to Host Music Meet with Area Faculty
