Three Escape Uninjured From Shrimp Boat Fire
The Associated Press reports that three crew members escaped a shrimp boat blaze off Galveston without injury. Master Ryan caught fire Saturday morning and a civilian helicopter dropped a life raft. The crew deployed the raft, abandoned ship, were picked up by another vessel, then transferred to a Coast Guard boat and returned to shore in good condition.
