TxDOT to deice Fred Hartman Bridge and I-10 spans
TxDOT workers will start deicing after 9 a.m. on the Fred Hartman Bridge, the San Jacinto River bridges on I-10, and both old and new U.S. 190. Regional engineers coordinate via conference calls as Chambers County prepares with sand and equipment. Forecasters call for possible early snow, with Dec 10 last year tying the earliest snow record at 114 years.
