Snowstorm to Bring Light Snow Across Southeast Texas
A National Weather Service forecast warns a winter storm will drop one to three inches of snow mixing with rain by noon across parts of Southeast Texas. Temperatures may fall to the low to mid 20s tonight with icing on bridges and overpasses after dark. Baytown cancels the Christmas parade, rescheduled for December 11 as crews prep three snow trucks.

Goose Creek CISD to close early due to severe weather
The district will release high school at 10:35 am and junior high at 12:25 pm. Elementary schools Alamo, Ashbel Smith, Bowie, Carver, Lamar, Victoria Walker and others release at 11:15 am with pre-K at 9:20 am morning and 1:15 pm for afternoon. Additional elementary groups follow 11:15 am release with 9:35 am morning and 11:30 am afternoon pre-K.

Unanswered questions linger in 2008 Baytown deaths
In Baytown two hit and run deaths a hour apart in December 2008 remain unsolved. Police Captain Roger Clifford appeals for information from the public. The first victim, Sam Marlin, a 47 year old Shell Oil inspector and Pistolas motorcycle club member, was killed when a white Chevrolet pickup struck his Harley Davidson on South Highway 146 Business. The toy run he helped organize was set for the next day.
