City offices close for Labor Day observance
City offices will be closed Monday for Labor Day. Sterling Municipal Library will be closed for the holiday but open today with regular hours. The Junk Drop-off Center on West Main closes today. Police Fire and EMS will be on duty for emergencies through the weekend. Emergency Management will monitor Hurricane Gustav. Other city personnel may be on stand-by for emergencies.
