Elevator Stuck Between Floors Traps Five at Delta Kappa Gamma Meet
Retired principal Wynona Montgomery recalls being trapped in an elevator in San Diego during a Delta Kappa Gamma convention. Nine people, including Kay Hill Kathryn Wright Donna Mohiman and David Mohiman, waited as hotel staff and an elevator technician worked to free them. After about an hour they escaped when a door could be opened slightly and the floor height was adjusted. The group received a free room for the night and avoided a table seating issue at the banquet.
