Schwarzenegger refines stance as recall race tightens

A Los Angeles Times poll shows Arnold Schwarzenegger trailing Cruz Bustamante 35 to 22 percent with six weeks until the October recall. Analysts say his TV appearances on Hedgecock and Hugh Hewitt aim to unite conservatives and prevent Tom McClintock from overtaking Bil Simon, while Stutzman frames the push as ongoing fiscal conservatism across venues.
