Last rites were held at 2 p.m. Friday for Dr George Draper Brier 52 Baytown physician who died after a short illness in Houston. Rev Walter Hendell and Rev Michael P Thompson officiated at Trinity Episcopal Church with burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Surviving his widow Gloria Woodward Bruce two children Barton and Cameron plus his parents Mr and Mrs Lester Brice of Freeport. Dr Brice practiced in Baytown since 1936 and was former chief of staff of San Jacinto Memorial Hospital and president of the East Harris County Branch of Harris County Medical Society.
