Suspects in Baytown game room murder charged with capital murder
Two men are charged with capital murder in the Aug. 5 slaying of a Baytown game room security guard Juan Pardo Gonzalez. Rafael Gomez Soliz, 26, and Santiago Jaimes Gonzalez, age 29, remain at large as Harris County investigators seek tips, with potential death penalty if convicted. The robbery occurred at 7:45 a.m. in the 7300 block of Interstate 10 East.

Boating incident in Red's Bayou injures Baytown couple
An elderly Baytown couple and their son were fishing in a small boat near the mouth of Red's Bayou when larger boats bullied them causing injuries. Benefit planned for Baytown boating accident victim
