Officers seized under a gram of amphetamines during arrest. Later Sunday another aggravated assault with bodily injuries left a man jumped by several people in the 500 block of West Narro Street.
At 1 p.m. Sunday an assault related to family violence occurred in the 7500 block of Decker Drive.
Burglars struck Burger King at 2207 N Alexander Drive on a Sunday night, taking four television screens from the dining area. Police are investigating the burglary and reviewing surveillance footage.
Police investigated a burglary in the 3200 block of Illinois Street where a garage apartment was entered between 7 p.m. Saturday and 9:10 a.m. Sunday, with about $180 in goods taken including two window air conditioners. Surveillance shows a man entering a locked grocery store at the 3500 block of North Main Street and taking $4,720 in cash from a cash-checking site at 7:53 a.m. Sunday.
Police confiscated less than a gram of cocaine after a store employee found the abandoned narcotics in a gas station on 4300 North Main Street at 2 40 p m Sunday.
