Goose Creek district updates fund balance and teacher turnover
Goose Creek CISD released a June 30 2014 general fund balance estimate of 86.4 million dollars and an updated teacher turnover report. CFO Margie Grimes cautioned the figure is not final as the district closes its fiscal year. Turnover through August 11 runs 13.8 percent, higher than the 2013 and 2012 full-year rates but lower than some prior years.
