Lee College arts center update shows progress toward completion
Lee College Building Committee heard updates on the PAC and McNair Center at I-10. Masonry is 90 percent done with remaining concrete work waterproofing and power. Centerpoint Energy and city officials will inspect soon to energize the facilities. McNair Center is nearly ready for turnover as staff move in. Energy-saving plans could cut annual costs by about 716 thousand dollars, funded partly from reserves and pledges.
