Goose Creek Memorial High School staff students motorists and north side residents will see construction along Wallisville Road and Main Street completed and lanes reopened Sunday August 26 one day before Goose Creek CISD begins the school year. Greater St John Baptist Church under Pastor Dwain Walker marks 83 years as a central African American pillar in Baytown amid civil rights history and severe local challenges. The church partners with Baytown Police to open a substation in the Oak Woods Addition to curb drug trafficking seen as a blight on the community and church growth led by First Lady Mardara Walker.
