True love waits for Baytown princesses in Priceless Princess program
A group of teen girls ages 11 to 18 in Baytown will graduate in September after completing a six week Priceless Princess program. The Christian outreach provides guidance and group therapy to help resist peer pressure and premature sexual activity. Graduates from the first two cohorts now mentor new participants, and the program has moved from a church to the Baytown Community Center. Weekly sessions run Tuesdays 6 to 8 p.m. led by Sonia Barrett, a hairdresser and church pianist, who views the program as a path to positive life choices.
