Albany Fight Blocks New York Safety Car Project
In Albany a key Democrat, Speaker Anthony Travia, stalled New York State’s plan to prototype a crash proof safety car. Gov Rockefeller backed the bill, but Travia’s rules committee blocked a $390,000 continuation, leading to a last minute budget maneuver by Sen Edward Speno.
