Iraq resumes southern oil field production after accord
An Iraqi oil official to AP said production at the South Oil Co. is back to full output after an agreement with al Sadr supporters to avert attacks on export pipelines. Output had been cut as a precaution, with one tanker loading at 15,000 barrels per hour and futures fluctuating around $44.50 a barrel.
