Texas Impact Gold Wins ASA 14U National Title Over Tampa Mustangs
Texas Impact Gold rallied from 2-0 early deficit and defeated the Tampa Mustangs 5-4 in the Amateur Softball Association 14 under Girls Class A National Tournament final at Champion Fields. Makenzie Ripkowski earned the win in relief, delivering four scoreless frames and a pivotal double play aided by Riley Bullen to preserve the lead. Coach Danny Elder praised Ripkowski for overcoming ACL surgery and a pacemaker history to close out the victory in a tense title game.
