After dumping seven inches of rain on Baytown, Tropical Storm Edouard weakened to a tropical low and headed west. NOAA and National Weather Service forecasters say the system will dissipate soon, but its rain disrupted a dry spell across the region and will be felt as storms near Dallas.
Baytown residents saw buses parked as Edouard dumped rain leading Harris County Transit Services to review interruption notices. Director Ken Fickes said the suspension decision came Monday after coordinating with Baytown officials. See Buses page 10 for more details.
