First leukemia patient treated at San Jacinto in Baytown
Wanda Flowers, a 67 year old Liberty resident and longtime supermarket cashier, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after fainting at home. She became the first patient to be treated at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, where Dr. Kashif Ansari led her cancer care after a Liberty hospital stay.
