Entex will reduce the average residential gas bill by about four percent after Aug 3 due to a drop in gas costs from area suppliers. District manager Dick DeSalme notes the typical 5 200 cubic feet bill falls $1.40 from $34.20 to $32.80 and cites abundant natural gas supplies as the reason.
The Baytown Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall to review maintenance responsibilities for water detention facilities and then tour the sites. They will also consider amended final approval for Independence Plaza near Baker and Garth roads and grant final approval to Baker Road Development on Baker Road.
