Baytonian 18 Killed In One Car Wreck Near Baytown
Archie Paul Golden aged 18 of 615 N Second Baytown died in a single vehicle crash at 2 15 a m Saturday on State Highway 225 between Deer Park and La Porte. He apparently fell asleep at the wheel, veered off the road 491 feet into a ditch. State Highway Patrolmen Jack Allen and Bruce Perkins of Webster investigated. Golden, a Robert J Lee High School graduate, was employed as an apprentice electrician with Richardson Electric Co of Houston. Survived by his parents four sisters and six brothers, plus a grandfather Pact of Dalhart. Funeral arrangements to be announced by Earthman's.
