Nederland tops Crosby in bi district softball playoff sweep
Nederland defeated Crosby 4-1 in Game 1 and 5-2 in Game 2 to sweep the best-of-three series at Crosby High School. Crosby threatened late in Game 2 but could not tie or take the lead, despite Abby Walker’s key hit and a late Crosby baserunning spree. Makayla Kelly drove in two runs in Nederland’s insurance eighth inning as the Lady Bulldogs advance.
