Goodwill Bags Should Be Returned Now
Goodwill bags given to Baytown schoolchildren on April 22 are still being collected at schools. Bags are filled with discarded clothing, sent to Goodwill Industries for repair and cleaning, then distributed to needy Baytown children. The Thrift Exchange earns 80 cents per bag to fund clothing for youngsters, with a goal of $1,000 credit this year. If a bag was not filled, families are urged to reuse it next year and return it.
