Funeral services are set for Thursday at Paul UL Lee Funeral Home for Robert Baber Hemphill a Baytown businessman who died in a local hospital. Officiating will be pastor Tones of the Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston. Hemphill moved to Baytown from Houston in 1997 and owned an automobile agency until retirement in 1950s. He was a member of Arabia Temple and his rise in the local business community is noted during his years of service.

Boy 8 Freed After Four Days In Kidnap Case
Eight year old boy held for four days by suspect Bryan in a kidnapping tied to a South Carolina case. Highlands Bride Dies In Honeymoon Car Crash
A 19 year old Highlands bride Mrs Cecelia Twardowski Martin died Tuesday night in a head on collision west of Pensacola Florida while honeymooning with her husband Daniel Noah Martin 26. The couple wed Saturday at St Jude's Catholic Church Highlands. The truck driver James Frank Bryant 33 of Birmingham Alabama survived. Martin is hospitalized in fair condition. Funeral plans announced by Earthman Funeral Home. Mrs Martin graduated from Rai Ett Reed High and Lamar State College. Survived by her mother Mrs Barbara Twardowski and siblings Josephine Elizabeth Dolores Evelyn Twardowski and two grandmothers.
