Enterprise to build world's largest ethane export facility
Enterprise Products plans a 240000 barrel per day refriger ated ethane export facility at its Mont Belvieu complex. CEO Michael Creel says long term contracts support the project, slated to open in 2016, leveraging ethane from Marcellus and Utica via the ATEX pipeline and expanding U S energy exports. Enterprise, the Houston area's second largest transmission firm, employs about 3000 people.
