Mont Belvieu Police Report Details Arrests and Thefts
On April 12 a 29 year old Highlands woman was arrested at Motel 6 on public intoxication charges and warrants, transported to the city jail. April 16 a business under construction on FM 565 reported a forced entry and $500 in construction supplies stolen. April 18 Motel 6 staff reported a 32 inch TV stolen from a room. A 22 year old Liberty woman with probation warrants was detained and turned over to Liberty County.

Baytown Police Beat Sees Multiple Thefts and Burglaries
A firearm and other property were stolen from a locked truck in a restaurant lot on Garth Road between 12:30 and 12:55 PM Thursday. Electronics from a vehicle were stolen in a lot on Interstate 10 near 4500 block between noon and 1:20 PM. Unspecified items were taken from a vehicle at a truck stop on Interstate 10 around 1:30 PM. An attempted car burglary occurred in a restaurant lot on Interstate 10 between 1 and 1:45 PM. the door lock was damaged but nothing stolen. Additional burglaries and thefts occurred at residences, businesses, and vehicles, with various items reported stolen. Between Thursday and Friday, Baytown police logged 41 offense reports, 18 arrests, and 21 crashes. Friday into Saturday added 33 reports, 17 arrests, and 21 crashes.
