Girl Scout Chosen For 1968 Camping Caravan Honor
Claudia West of Orange daughter of Mr and Mrs Wayne West and granddaughter of Mrs Frankie Russell of Bay town was selected as one of 63 of 112 applicants to attend the 1968 San Jacinto Girl Scouts camping caravan. The event intercouncil and interstate, with two caravans of chartered buses, replaces roundup and will occur every three years. Claudia has seven years as a Girl Scout and serves in the Port Arthur Orange Senior Troop working on her program aide badge.
