Goose Creek School District seeks financial solutions as a new high school looms and projected revenue rises only slightly. Budget director Pete Pape cites general fund revenue of about $140 million for 2008, up about $1.93 million from 2007, while enrollment is seen growing around 2 percent.
Goose Creek ISD trustees will not extend superintendent Barbara Sultis or raise her $209,000 salary this year. Since 2001 the board typically granted a $10,000 raise annually with one 2003 exception. current contract runs through 2011.
