In four spades, East faces a heart king led by partner. If overtake with ace, plan second trick play by cashing diamond ace and returning heart two to let partner win two hearts. If you miss overtake, four spades makes and you gain only two hearts and one diamond. If dummy holds hearts 1 7 4, you still overtake with ace to ruff third round. in a no trump, play low and hope.
