City Park Equipment Approved in Baytown Council

Baytown City Council Thursday night approved 2,464.20 worth of playground equipment for city parks. Bids announced by Finance Director J. B. LeFevre included a $259 swing from Masterson Distributing Co and a merry-go-round, ladder, slide, and see-saw from Giant Manufacturing Co. Councilman Seaborn Cravey urged building swings with city crews, while City Manager Fritz Lanhammack said the issue would be studied for future consideration.
