Marker dedication set for Robert E. Lee High School
The oldest Goose Creek CISD campus, Robert E. Lee High School, will be listed as a state historic landmark with an official Texas marker dedicated April 27. The Baytown Historical Preservation Association, Goose Creek CISD, and the Harris County Historical Commission will host a 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ceremony and reception on the school front lawn, noting the 1928 main building.

Goose Creek CISD Trustees Eye Parking Lot and Renovation Contracts
Goose Creek CISD trustees will consider selecting architectural firms to design and manage new parking lots at Robert E. Lee High School and Crockett Elementary School during a 6:30 p.m. meeting Monday. Superintendent Cavazos says the projects are necessary to refurbish the parking areas and meet expectations. The agenda also includes a design and construction contract with W.D. Engineering for Ross S. Sterling High School softball parking and Estes McClure for Crockett Elementary plumbing renovations, plus renewing an Aramark Education contract.
