Bay Area Relay For Life Honors Sponsors At Reception
The American Cancer Society Bay Area Relay For Life hosted a reception at the Exxon Mobil White House to thank roughly 80 sponsors, with $118,000 raised so far. Tri-chair Leila Bates praised sponsors for supporting early cancer detection, education, and patient services in Baytown as the relay nears its April 11–12 event at Stallworth Stadium. The Bay Area Relay began in 1998 and has raised over $3.7 million, remaining Texas and High Plains division leader for multiple years. Tickets and info are at BayAreaRelay.org.
