Roy Hay and Fioya Wilson visited Guthrie Center on Wednesday while families like Kenyon Behrens and McCool hosted relatives. A PVA meeting drew a large crowd as Mr Beate spoke. a mock wedding honored Mr and Mrs Walter Turke.
Mr and Mrs George Fell were dinner guests Thursday at the Dave Ritchie home. Mr and Mrs Milo Cretsinger and Sons and Mrs Clark Hutchinson were supper guests Thursday evening at the Willi McCool home. Mr and Mrs Russell Birze spent Wednesday afternoons in Guthrie Center. Mrs Fred Rosenbladt visited at Highland No 9 Tuesday. Mr and Mrs George Hicks are the parents of a baby boy for Friday Nov 29. Mr and Mrs Earl Barrett Spent Friday evening at the Clark Hutchins home. Cleo Hall spent his vacation with home folks. Mrs Mabel Duke spent Friday evening at the Milo Cretsinger home. Mr and Mrs Otto Murphy spent Saturday evening at the Russell Birge home.
Saturday evening at the Will Murphy Leonard Madser who attends school in Chillicothe Mo arrived home to spend Thanks entertaining Lawrence and Edna Ritchie and Gladys Jorgensen in Lis AenoF. Bill Birge has been quite ill with the mumps. Mrs Cecil Murphy and daughters were guests at the parental Henry McCiellen home Thursday. Mr and Mrs Otto Murphy and daughters were dinner guests Thursday at the Boise McLaughlin home. Other guests included Mrs Mary Linton Mr and Mrs Donald Murphy Mr and Mrs Fred Alex and Billie of Dawson. Mr and Mrs Milo Cretsinger entertained guests at an oyster supper Sunday evening in honor of a wedding anniversary. Mrs Robert Duke Mr and Mrs Otto Murphy and daughters Mr and Mrs Russell Birge and Mrs Clark Hutchinson Mr and Mrs Paul Sorensen and children and Mr and Mrs Robert Dake were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mrs Anna Rosenbeck. Dorothy Murphy spent Tuesday night with Velma Ner.
The Ladies Aid Society meets Thursday at Mrs. Laurice Deaton's home an all day event with a covered dish. A chicken supper is offered Saturday night for twenty two and thirty cents. Junior Endeavor gathers Sunday evening at 6 45 with program at 7 39. Church youth return from the Marshalltown fellowship convention with reports. Pastor L F Grubbs signs.
Citizens urged to attend a Des Moines political meeting featuring Ernest Quick on Wednesday December 11 at 8 PM at the Guthrie Center Court House. Women and men invited. A short musical program will precede the address by Rachel Revell.
Sunday school at Bayard 16 a TM and Greenbrier 15 30 with preaching at Greenbrier 9 45. Bayard sermon titled The Maximum or Minimum Church and special choir music. Epworth League gathering at 6 30 P M. Five Rules To Fix Your Church warn against boosters and church fundraising.

Kopaska Bayard hosts praised by Morrow and Moore families. Will Hall Vera and Clyde Walker of Jamaica joined Clyde Vaux home for Thanksgiving. Griesmeyer family dined with John Grassmeier. Earl Klinzman Cedar Falls spent vacation in Bagley. Dorothy Morton visited friends and relatives in Bagley late last week.
