The Bath Iron Works Corp launched the refrigerated trawler Surf last Saturday at 3 45 PM. Mrs. Raymond S. Mudge christened the ship, with a Boston contingent from Forty Fathom Fisheries aboard. The design features nickel clad refrigerated holds, cork insulation, and advanced drainage, enabling winter temperatures and a 400 000 pound capacity.
