Sagadahoc Pomona event supports prohibition and local history

Sagadahoc Pomona met in Richmond Corner with Progressive Grange as usual for September, a week early to avoid the Richmond fair. The session included a feast, musical numbers, debates on housework and farming, and a plan for a fifth degree conferment at Enterprise Grange. The period also highlights the pro prohibition canvass and a long local history focusing on Daniel Hathorne and the Goss farm in Woolwich.
