Sebasco Fisherman Drowns In Casco Bay Tragedy
Capt. Bert Morrison of Sebasco, 51, and Starrett Videtto of Sabattus, 53, drowned Sunday afternoon about 1 45 as their Hampton fishing boat was rocked by a sudden lurch near Ragged Island three miles south of Cundy's Harbor. Seven crewmen questioned by Brunswick Chief William Edwards cited slippery deck and a fall, with life preservers tossed but the boat stalling. Bodies remained missing Monday afternoon as drag efforts continued. Morrison, longtime Bath resident, was described as well known in the city and had recently guided Bath boys on a deep sea fishing trip.
