August Bridge Tolls Ahead of 1934 Figures
Cash receipts from the Carlton bridge in August reached 37 447 80, up 1 917 40 from August 1934. The gain came mainly from 6 293 more 50 cent cash cars and 12 012 more five cent cash fares than the prior year. A $3 000 bequest to the Old Folks Home Association of Brunswick and smaller sums to Mary Blake and E Lee Senter are noted.
