Bay Point Affected by Cold Weather and Snowstorm

Isolation grew in Bay Point after a week of freezing temperatures and Sunday snow. Main entry road is passable though side streets remain icy. Divorces Granted by Sagadahoc Court at January Term

Loyal Temperance Legion Meeting at Haskell Memorial School

January officers announced for the Loyal Temperance Legion at Haskell Memorial School include Phyllis Farley as leader Leilani Pecci as secretary Ruth Ann Bettle as treasurer and Cynthia Weaver as chaplain. Visitor Prof R A Nesmith from the Atlantic Union Conference spoke on lung cancer risk from smoking and showed the film One In 20 000.

Former Nurses' Home Repaired at Bath Memorial Hospital

Preservative repairs have been completed to the nurses home on Winship Street. The work included re roofing and exterior painting. Officials said there is no immediate plan for use, though it may house hospital employees in the future if needed.

Parker Head Community Shower and Social Notes

Friends of Mr and Mrs Ed ward Gray gathered at the vestry for a kitchen shower hosted by Mrs William Cushing. Several local families attended and refreshments followed. Mothers' March on Polio Sets Bath Fund Drive

Tomorrow night Bath residents will host a Mothers' March on Polio from seven to eight. Volunteers will go door to door with signals of welcome and collect donations for polio relief at Morse High School and local centers.
