Reed's high school and college activities included debating, stock judging, and involvement in agricultural clubs. He and his wife Ciladtus Page plan to move to Arene beginning November 1.
An interdenominational Bible conference organized by the Institute of Charge will convene in Boston at Park Street Congregational Church. Rev James M Gray and Prof J Gresham Machen opened the event, with speakers including Leander S Becker Clarence F Wrcttor and others from Princeton Heidelberg and Southern Baptist seminaries. The program features daily Bible studies and evening addresses led by noted theologians with music by Talmadge J Bittkelfer. A Philadelphia conference is planned later in winter.

Pupils of Morse High School staged a strong demonstration of school spirit in Sarl and on Kelley Field Friday afternoon before and during the Morse Gardiner football game. The parade drew the vast student body and community, echoing a spirit last seen during the 2021 winter when the Morse basketball team traveled to Medford for the New England championship.
Benjamin Hall a retired Charlestown businessman and Mrs Edwina Mayers formerly of Bath were married Saturday afternoon at five at the tree grove. The groom is from a leading Charlestown family and the bride was well known in Bath with a wide circle of acquaintances. Both are held in high esteem by their circles.
The famed Boothbay Maine lobster mounted for display at Springfield’s Eastern States Exposition was broken during shipment to Philadelphia. insured for 500 by the express company, the exhibit valued at 1000, with 15,000 daily viewers and homeowner Captain Fred B Higgins expressing anger over the loss.
A hunting bulletin reports Moosehead Lake and Rangeley Kennebago regions with deer and bear plentiful, partridge scarce, and good hunting conditions. The funeral for Albert M Gay, notable Bath resident, was held Monday at St Marys church with mass bytec peston te tta tot ne onotos. Pallbearers included Dollard Gay and Leon Gay of Montreal, Arthur E Gay of Portland, and Ralph Gay of Bath. Burial followed in Oak Grove. Coal is sold for 3800 dollars per four ton on the Arctic coast.
