They traveled from Manila on the President Madison, passing through San Francisco and a day in Detroit en route to Bath. Mrs. Schwartz, formerly Miss Goldie Solovich, has lived in the Philippines 1921 to 1923 and in Portland Maine before moving to Bath three years ago. She met Mrs. Harry Warren Halterman in Bath in March, and Lieut. Halterman is stationed at a local army post. The family plans to spend a year in Bath and vicinity, with Mr. Shwartz joining in about eight months.

Steamer Winter Harbor Surrenders to Auto Service
The Winter Harbor of the Boothbay Harbor Wiscasset line ends 25 years on the Sheepscot river route. Roy B Rowe replaces it with a bus service between Boothbay Harbor and Wiscasset and will offer passenger and freight service matching train schedules.
