Two teens jailed for automobile theft in Portland case
Norman Brown, 17, and a younger Bath boy were found guilty of larceny of an automobile in municipal court. Recorder Owen J. Ledyard sentenced Brown to the Men's Reformatory at South Windham and the younger boy to the State School for Boys, South Portland. The car belonging to Willard Atwood of Phippsburg Hyde Windlass Co. had been parked on Water street Tuesday morning. The juvenile appealed to the October term of Superior court.
