Sealed bids for a 16 inch submarine water main across the Kennebec River and related work will be received until 2 30 p m Tuesday October 18 by the Bath Water District trustees at their office. The project is a approved P W A project with total estimated cost 170000 dollars and about 104300 dollars available for submarine construction.

Builder's trial for destroyer Pleasing at Bath yard

Red Men and Pocahontas Install Officers in Maine
About 300 members and friends of the Great Councils of Maine gathered at Morse high school for the installation of Red Men and Pocahontas officers. The event capped the 32nd Great Council Fire of the D of P and the 50th Great Council Fire of the I O R M with a reception and dancing. Arthur J. Ruland of Binghamton led the ceremony, representing Edgar C. Levey of San Francisco, as chiefs were raised. including Omar H.
