Bailey Evening School registrations open Monday from 7 to 9 pm in Morse High School room 108. Courses include bookkeeping typing shorthand sewing driving education and more with a $2 fee for driver education. A minimum of ten students is needed to start a course and attendance must stay above six to continue.

Building of Front Street Sidewalk Under Way
Highway crews began a joint project with Bath Saving Institution to build a new sidewalk in front of the bank. The city removes old walk and installs new curbing funded half by the city and half by the bank. Middlestreet near the north end received oiling and graveling after a delayed tarring period, with asphalt oil poured near the fire station. Gravel hauled supports paving a new oil sheet parking lot at the former Farnham Lumber Co site.

Break At Filling Station Reported To Police
Bert's Esso Station on Leeman Highway was broken into early Sunday. About $11 in cash and spare change were stolen from a safe, with the thief gaining entry through a broken southeast window. Police checked the scene at 12:50 pm and found all in order. Bertam Reed reported the break at 7 am. Officers Avery Lowery Newell Tainter investigated.

Rainbow Assembly Installs Officers In Semi Formal Ceremony
